Sting’s 1993 classic “If I Ever Lose My Faith” sees the remix treatment from dance music legend, Carl Cox. Cox takes The Scrumfrog’s pop-centric tech house rework and adds his techno touch — making it dance floor approved for the modern day big room sound. Cox keeps the original attributes intact doing just enough to transform a classic into a techno gem. He displays rhythmic progression at its finest by keeping a steady drum pattern over spouts of unaltered vocals. The track is out now on Beatport and through other portals September 17.
