Coming off a relentless summer, and most recently his Casual Encounters of the 3rd Kind EP, Wolfgang Gartner returns with another two-track offering. Sharing the same name as his fall tour, the Love & War EP includes “Love & War” and “Nuke,” which Wolfgang himself has referred to as the favorite songs that he’s ever made.

Wolfgang sticks to his frenetic electro formula, but as usual, manages to shake things up enough for a refreshing sound. The intricacy in the productions and the signature Wolfgang elements combine for a seizure inducing sound on both tracks.     Prefer Nuke, though both are a bit too electro for me, even though that is his sound.
