Alesso takes us down memory lane with ‘Years’ music video, gets Seb to take up acting
Get ready for a trip down memory lane with the video for Alesso and Matthew Koma’s “Years.” Starting off in the present day studio with Alesso, we’re quickly transmitted back in time when Alesso was just getting started, including when he would burn CDs to bring to gigs and bang out beats on his Moog keyboard. We see his dreams get shattered after getting kicked out of a club, and he even sells his motorbike for cash to buy a non-Apple laptop to get producing for real.
Soon enough, Alessandro is burning copies of “Dynamite” — one of his first big singles — and dropping discs on Sebastian Ingrosso’s windshield with the simple title “Alesso Demo.” Before you know it, Alesso is at the EDC New York main stage, chronicling his incredible rise over the course of a few very short, um, years.
