DJ Fresh, the production wizard behind the dubstep track “Louder,” is crossing the pond to demolish American airwaves like he has across Europe. He skyrocketed to European super-stardom after the track became the first dubstep tune to reach #1 on UK charts and now plans to unleash his production prowess on the American scene.
With plans to release an album via Columbia Records in 2013, DJ Fresh decided to gift Americans with a teaser EP today. The Louder EP — which is made up of three tracks from his Nextlevelism album and a remix by dubstep heavyweights Flux Pavilion and Doctor P — unloads some serious sub-rattling bass.
If you haven’t rinsed through these tunes you are in for a major treat because DJ Fresh’s productions are bottomless-bass-bangers. The three original cuts feature powerful vocals from Sian Evans’ “Louder,” Dizzee Rascal’s “Power,” and Ayah Marar’s “The Edge” — creating a short-lived EP begging for a rewind.
