Swiss dance music star Maurizio Colella, better known as EDX, released a new single “Touched” on Toolroom Records today. Although always a bit of a prolific remixer, EDX has stayed relatively quiet on the release front since “Everything” and “Sunset Miracles” from this past summer. Like much of what we see from this progressive house producer, “Touched” gives us pure uplifting chord progressions with a side of danceable and anthemic melodies.

Rain Man is ready to make a comeback. After a mired 2014, the ex-Krewella producer, Kris Trindl has kept his profile and studio time underwraps, showing off a handful of brief Soundclood previews and a collaboration with Mat Devine under the Hunter Square moniker. Possibly foreshadowing of what’s to come, Trindl has just shared a Spotify playlist dubbed “Inspiration Tunes.” It’s true that forging a new path requires inspiration and Trindl looks to acts like The Prodigy, The Faint, Slipknot and even Guns and Roses to lead the way. With a playlist like the one he just shared on Spotify, it’s clear to see that whatever Rain Man has planned is going to be loud, brash, and truly bad ass.
