Jack Beats releases ‘Progressions’ mix as a teaser for upcoming album
In anticipation of their forthcoming mini-album Somebody to Love, Jack Beats set loose the Progressions mix as a free download. Progressions combines tracks from the duo’s compilation Careless, out earlier this year, with tunes from the new album due December 9. Their 2012 releases were originally meant for a full-length album, but were split into two separate segments. As a result, the genre-fusing producers gifted listeners with a teaser mix complete with all of this year’s productions.
Progressions starts off with “Knock You Down” a new track that moves straight into Jack Beats’ signature wobbling electro baselines. The song opens the mix with a bang before the duo moves into the previously-released, “Careless,” “End of Love,” and “War.” The rest of the mix is made up of entirely new productions, with the exceptions of “Hooligans” which precedes their new single “Somebody to Love.” Click below the break to hear the Progressions mix in full.
