Production duo Pleasurekraft take the deep house course with their latest rework on Tube & Berger’s “Slipknot.” Tech house is what first comes to mind when thinking of Pleasurekraft — especially with tracks like their remixes to  “Shut Up and Dance” and “You’re Gonna Love Again” — but with this release they demonstrate genre barriers are no obstacle. Robert Owens’ shadowy vocals together with each guitar stroke makes this song fitting for an old western movie. Accompanied by a riveting bassline and a good trim of dance ryhthum, we see this track working well in the live setting.
