Ultra Music Festival organizers promised “something else to share” in terms of their 2013 plans, and we can finally reveal what they’re up to. Taking a page out of Coachella’s book, Ultra Music Festival 2013 — the 15th anniversary of the event — will be held on two back to back weekends anchoring Miami Music Week, March 15th-17th and March 22nd-24th. At this point in time, it’s unconfirmed whether both lineups will be truly identical or not, but it’s safe to say that there will be quite a bit of overlap between the two festivals. Tickets will go on sale this Wednesday, October 17th, though we don’t know exactly what time yet. Be sure to check back for more information — we’ll keep you updated as we hear more.
Update: Watch the full announcement video below.
Update 2: UMF has just posted another update on its Facebook page clarifying confusion about the multiple weekends. It sounds like the lineups will be relatively similar both weekends, but set times and stages will change from one week to the next. Ultra enthusiasts who simply have to be there will also be able to buy passes “at a slightly discounted combined price.” Check out the full update on Ultra’s Facebook page.
