Amtrac consistently produces the kind of dance music that’s so universal our parents might bob their heads along to the beat. His newest release, “Those Days” continues this pattern. The funky drums, roaring vocals, and tinkling melody have a vintage, disco-y vibe all without feeling too aged. Most importantly the track — like so much of his music — has a soul, an element that has become increasingly rare in the dance music world. A search for “famous people from Kentucky” yields few results, but we see that changing in the future — hop on his bandwagon before it leaves the station.
