Just as the title of Jus Jack & Oza’s new track would suggest, “Housid” is part progressive house, part acid. Opening with a soft piano sequence, the track builds into a melodic, carefree tune, reminiscent of something Avicii would compose. As it builds up, hints of harder chords emerge and the track climaxes with an electro-like drop. The minute-and-a-half preview only leaves us begging for more. Luckilys, the full version of “Housid” is available for purchase today on Beatport on the Auryn Music label.
Individually, the producers are rock solid; together, they are opening doors to new sounds. NYC-based Jus Jack provides a classic house style while Roman native Oza brings a sprinkling of trance. Their efforts combined in early 2012 and are now bringing us the best of both worlds, via their group (fittingly), Jus Jack & Oza. Expect to see more of the duo in the months to come. They’ve even been unofficially endorsed by Thomas Gold in his latest episode of Fanfare.
