Knife Party release ‘Clever Title Like Deadmau5 Would Use’ mix

Item Image

In a playful stab at the nominal wordplay of Deadmau5Knife Party have entitled their new mix ‘Clever Title Like Deadmau5 Would Use.’ Ripe with Rage Valley EP  singles and Knife Party VIPs such as “Rage Valley VIP” and “Internet Friends VIP,” this mix is brimming with heavy original material. Aside from their own productions, Knife Party include thumping minimal selections such as Jewelz & Scott Sparks’ “Toxic Rush” and Alvaro’s “Pay Attention to the Drums.”

This mix is as technical as it is menacing. Quick, risky transitions give it a human element, conspicuously absent from most modern mixtapes. Impressive double drops such as Tom Staar’s remix of “African Drop” with Knife Party’s remix of “Save the World” will have you double-taking. Knife Party’s prowess is ever evident. Full tracklist after the break.
