Don’t judge a book by its cover. And in this case, don’t judge a track by its name. The original OneRepublic track is a traditionally pop-rock tune that you may not find yourself listening to with any regularity. Enter Fred Falke. The French producer infuses the track with some proper house beats, giving it a disco feel that’s much more to our liking.
Falke is pretty much a veteran on the EDM scene, making music since 2000 and delivering remixes of pop songs for about as long. His recent album release Part IV, which features the track “Aurora,” should give you a nice taste of Fred’s style. And if you’re fiending for more, you can also check out his Soundcloud page.
