Good Morning Mix – Dirtybird Essential Selection Takeover
It goes without saying that over the past few years Justin Martin and Claude VonStroke’s Dirtybird imprint has brought to light some of the most original artists we’re seeing today. Last Friday night, VonStroke and Martin took to the decks of Pete Tong’s weekly Essential Selection, and just as we’ve seen done by the Swedes and more recently Jamie Jones and Seth Troxler, embarked on a two-hour journey showcasing their favorite tracks of the moment and featuring mini-mixes from labelmates Eats Everything and Catz ‘n Dogz.
A highlight and exclusive preview to keep an eye on is Justin Martin and Eats Everything’s collaboration on “Feather Fight” — a track that stopped us in our tracks and forced a re-listen or two.
