Fed up with pyrotechnics and club scene status? Zenbi has an anthem for you. The Washington-based tech house producer lends his rhythmic touch to an edgy subterranean reinvention of Kotov & Wilde’s “Dark Passenger.” Zenbi wastes no time in building an infectious percussion-driven groove over which Dan Diamond sneers about the extraneous nature of dress codes, champagne, and big room builds. As a pitch-shifted Diamond laments, “all you need is a kick drum and a good bass line.” Fortunately, this remix is not lacking in those departments. Head to Beatport to grab a copy today.
