No Doubt’s newest single ‘Looking Hot’ gets remixed
No Doubt returned in full force in 2012 with their sixth studio album Push and Shove. With production from Diplo and official reworks from some dance music up-and-comers, it seems the quartet is revamping their ska-turned-pop style into something even more dance-worthy.
Now out with their second single “Looking Hot,” the band has enlisted some more notably electronic producers to weigh in on the original. First comes Kill Paris‘ rendition, which adds an electro-driven bass line and bursting guitar riffs. R3hab speeds up the track while incorporating escalating synths and vibrating piano chords to form the standout from the remix compilation. While American-based composer/producer Stephen Hilton finishes the three-track release–keeping the original horns from “Looking Hot” and adding muffled bass beats.
