We’re very excited to learn that big names Groove Armada, Noir, and Eats Everything are coming out with remixes and reworks of the late 90s/early 00s disco-dub dance band Chicken Lips’ huge 2003 hit, “He Not In.” As we have come to expect with remix packages, the offerings from the three different producers/teams are diverse — each offering a different take on the already bombastic original.

Groove Armada gives us a “dub reconstruction” in the classic sense, leaving in only minimal aspects of the original track, focusing heavily on the drum and the bass, and adding in noticeable elements of reverb and echo. Noir’s “Personal Edit” leans more on top layer percussion and seems to sharpen up the original bassline just right. It’s Eats Everything’s “Chicken Tits Rewix,” however, that really has us humming. Recognize it? The jolly Bristolian closed out his recent Essential Mix with this track. Stream previews of the original and three remixes below and enjoy!
