Former grime-MC-turned-rapper Wretch 32 first made waves with his tune “Tracktor” in early 2011. Since then Wretch – real name Jermaine Sinclair — has teamed with UK stunners such as Example and Etta Bond, all while he worked on his sophomore album Black and White. The album, which was released via Ministry of Sound, received praise around the UK and Wretch 32 has been on the rise since.
The UK hip-hopper has now returned with his latest track, “Pop” which is slated to appear on his next album due out sometime this year. The original track oozes with his original grime flavor, but Fake Blood has given us a dance-worthy remix. The London-based producer keeps the integrity of Wretch’s vocals, but adds extra kick drums to give “Pop” even more grimey oomph.
