Gramatik recently took to social media to announce he would be departing from Pretty Lights Music to pursue a new adventure with his own LowTemp label. The announcement appeared over the weekend and was followed by the first single from his forthcoming album The Age of Reason. The track follows typical Gramatik form by fusing his unique genre-clashing with live guitar elements. This New Yorker starts off with distinctive drum kicks and slow-building bass growls before incorporating some bluesy guitar riffs. Without losing his hip-hop inspired vibes, Gramatik gives fans a powerful peak at what is to come from The Age of Reason. The “Bluestep” release is accompanied by a music video featuring performance footage from shows and festivals from the Gramatik tour and now it is available as a free download.
