Sidney Samson has risen above his Rock The Houze productions, leaped over his Dutch bleeps, and has landed one of his biggest productions to date on Tiësto’s Musical Freedom imprint. Bulkier than his most recent “Dutchland” and packed with more energy than his Will.I.Am collaboration, “Better Than Yesterday,” Sidney’s work with Martin Garrix aims straight at the big room. “Torrent” is signature Musical Freedom with its festival-sized appeal, but remains Dutch from the sonic synths to the roaring builds.
