Avicii announced as newest mentor for the Burn Studios Residency competition
Burn Studios Residency gives up-and-coming talent the unique opportunity to build their skills under the watchful eye of an established artist, all while competing for one of three coveted residency spots at a top Ibiza club over the summer. Avicii joins Joe Goddard aka Hot Chip, Fatboy Slim, Maceo Plex, Solomun and Steve Lawler on the competition’s already impressive roster of mentors. With thousands of hopeful DJs from over 90 countries having already applied for a chance t0 win and only four days until the deadline, this announcement should only serve to amp up the already high stakes.
Avicii has expressed excitement about the opportunity.
“When my manager Ash approached me with this opportunity I got so excited to be able to help nurture and guide the next wave of international electronic music talent together with burn. burnstudios Residency provides a fantastic opportunity, not just to the Residents but to all the finalists who will join me and the other producers and DJs at Bootcamp,” he says.
