It looks like Dada Life took things quite seriously when fans cried out for a fantasy land flowing with champagne and bananas. The notorious Swedish duo are looking for 10,000 signatures to have Dada Land recognized as its own sovereign nation, and in order to increase momentum, March 6^th 2013 has been declared Dada Land Independence Day. The pair wish to unite all fans across major cities and rally to demand global recognition, or as they put it:

“The International Dada Land Treaty Council recognizes the sovereignty of all Dada Land peoples and will stand in unity to support our national and international bananas and sisters in their respective and collective struggles concerning international treaties and agreements with other governments. We will continue to assert our human right to Arrive Beautiful and Leave Ugly.”
