Ultra Music Festival is officially over but its 6-day run was full of unforgettable surprises and guest appearances. One such unexpected collaboration came when Dutch phenom, Chuckie, invited Slash — ex Guns N’ Roses guitarist — and label mate Betatraxx to premiere their new track live on stage. “Rocktronica” is a unique fusion of rock and electronic music unlike anything they’ve released as individual artists and Chuckie hopes that the collaboration will act as catalyst for the emergence of a new sound. Incorporation of live instruments (outside the live stage) emerged as a festival theme this year and we’re excited to see how the trend develops. The track, which has been in the works since last summer, is now available for mass consumption as a free download.
