The evil masterminds behind “Wakanda” and one third of the anthemic “Hit It,” put their heads and aural synapses together to create “Turn It Up,” their latest unapologetic peak time brain child. Driven by a thunderous kick and wonky drum lines, the mix has little interest for subtlety, developing with blaring sirens and electro house flairs that collide with the namesake’s vocal line – a tidal wave of gripping percussion in tow. Big room synthwork peaks through the mix, but only momentarily before any semblance of melody is interrupted by yet another aggressive drop. With 2013 still in its infancy, Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike and GTA have made it abundantly clear that when it comes to feverish percussion with Dutch house touches, these three are at the top of their game.
