German producer Larse may not be the most well-known artist in the dance music scene today, but he’s certainly been making waves for the right people. Last year, his remix of Candi Staton’s classic “Hallelujah Anyway” was one of the biggest records for Defected and since then he’s powered through soulful fan favorites like “So Long” and “Those of You” for Noir Music. His Dikso Records EP out this week, GT, pushes him further into critical acclaim, but the Adana Twins‘ remix of “Hot” is the big “can’t miss” track of the release. The Twins fill Larse’s cut with flavor and a thunderous bass line — transforming “Hot” from a lighthearted vocal track to a slow-burning dance floor bomb.
