After hitting #5 on Beatport with “Ah Yeah,” Australian producer Will Sparks continues on his quest for a breakout year with his latest Dutch-inspired electro outing. “The Viking” starts off with a melodic piano roll, but dives feet first into a cavalcade of bouncy synthwork. Similar to his previous productions, Sparks brings the kick to the forefront of the mix, surrounding it with electro chirps and throaty groan samples. Destined to conquer dance floors like any dancing viking would, Sparks’s latest is a double dose of peak time adrenaline and marks another sound outing from Australia’s latest export.
