Empire of the Sun – Alive (Remixes)
Empire of the Sun struck gold with their summer anthem “Alive,” and have enlisted some of the biggest names in electronic music to bring the tune to another level. First came Zedd‘s take, a complex array of stabbing synths glazed by his signature energy that made Clarity a top album of 2012. Mat Zo‘s offering followed, an easy-listen built upon crisp chords and hypnotic builds and loops. Coming fresh with the official release of the remix package is a rendition from David Guetta, a big-room gem jam-packed with all the bulky-electro “Alive” could squeeze between its catchy hooks.
