Pleasurekraft have joined forces with Formatik label bosses Format:B to release a two-track tech house EP that is ripe for the summer season. The lead track on the EP, “Coltrane,” gets things going with bouncy percussion work over a brooding vocal segment from regular collaborator Chris The Voice. Stabbing trumpet spouts lay down a rumbling breakdown before the drop kicks into a pleasant tech house offering. “Sexus” follows up with a driving and deep bass line, with punch synths in tow. The second track seems more fitting for a dark room, rounding off an excellent release from two of the tech world’s finest.
