Bonnaroo 2013: Spend three hours with Wolfgang Gartner and Porter Robinson on day two

Coming off day one of Bonnaroo with the likes of Araabmuzik and Paper Diamond, intensity looks to pick up in Tennessee with its Friday schedule. For electronic fans in particular, selections widen, but day two offers appeal even beyond a lengthy performance from Pretty Lights. By midnight, fans have already experimented and experienced opportunities to relax and enjoy Passion Pit, rap along with Wu-Tang clan, and witness a legend like Paul McCartney. By midnight, fans should be headed for an electronic after hours.

When 11:30pm rolls around that means time to trek to “The Other Stage.” On Bonnaroo’s second night, Wolfgang Gartner will kick off the AM hours and Porter Robinson will take control of the stage near closing time. With back to back sets, the transition from Wolfgang to Porter makes for an evening of dance after an afternoon of indie acts and classic artists.

Be ready to shift gears with Wolfgang Gartner, a music festival veteran who will treat Tennessee properly with his usual antics and recent hits. There is no doubt that he will have fans worked and sweating by 1am, but stay put and remain at “The Other Tent.” With 30-minutes to recoup and catch your breath, Porter Robinson will take the decks to keep the crowd stomping until 3am. Alternatively, Pretty Lights will be performing at a neighboring stage and will definitely be debuting new music off his forthcoming A Color Map of the Sun EP.

Dancing Astronaut’s Bonnaroo 2013 day two pick: Wolfgang Gartner and Porter Robinson; spend three hours dancing after a legendary afternoon.
