German disco advocate DJ Friction is back with a little something special, this time in the form of an exclusive remodel of Boris Dlugosch and Rosin Murphy’s soulful original “Look Around You.” Aptly slated as the DJ Friction Boogie Mix, his latest dance floor bomb celebrates that beautiful moment between the late 70s and early 80s where technology and soulful disco became inseparable. Murphy’s delightful vocal work is given room to breath, fusing vintage R&B, disco and an undeniable hint of modern deep house to forge a truly magnificent remodel.
