A-Trak and Armand Van Helden haven’t released an original production since 2011’s “Big Bad Wolf” and the dance music world has been patiently awaiting Duck Sauce’s inevitable return ever since. Never one’s to take themselves too seriously, “It’s You” is a funk-fueled, sample driven groover that jostles and scratches with 1920s barber shop quartet vibes and the duo’s classic house sensibilities. A fun trip from start to finish, “It’s You” is a welcome change from the sounds of now — and it’s nice to have dance music’s Laurel and Hardy back in the saddle… or should we say duckbill.
