Known to throw hip-hop drops into live sets and take on rap remix duties, Chuckie finds himself further emerging himself into the genre he holds close to home. His latest offering has him producing hip-hop at full force while, of course, sticking to his dirty Dutch sound for his in-studio weapon of choice. Joined by Chicago’s Lupe Fiasco, veteran Too $hort, and recent Atlantic signee Snow Tha Product, Chuckie parallels his preferences of hip-hop and bleeps for the release of “Makin’ Papers.” The mind of Clyde Narain has opened up for a personal production that provides a proper vacancy for some of the game’s hottest acts to lay down verses.
