As one of the few artists of his time to consistently balance melodic stamina and club primed energy, “Cobra” is a beautiful digression from the cookie-cutter schematics currently facing the digital market. A raw and powerful bout of electro wobbles and rasping synths, the journey from John’s intricate melodic build is every bit as satisfying as we have come to expect from the handiwork of one of Sweden’s most sparing yet consistent club assets to date.
