Pete Tong premieres new Steve Angello single ‘SLVR’ on this week’s Essential Selections
The one and only Pete Tong is back this week with his Essential Selection from the best in house music around the globe. To start of the show, he flew through his progressive picks of the week including Fiora’s trance induced “Take Me Away,” Cedric Gervais’s Remix of Lana Del Rey’s “Young & Beautiful” and Tommy Trash’s “Monkey In Love,” among others.
Pete premiered a new Size Records mainstay featuring Steve Angello vs. Matisse & Sadko’s “SLVR” first previewed on Angello’s Essential Mix back in March. He also announces the lineup who will be supporting him at the free party at Ushuaia Ibiza Beach Hotel La Grand Bazaar on August 2nd which includes big names like Alesso and Solomun.
His Essential Tune of the Week was none other than Germany’s Kaiserdisco’s “Night & Day” which embodies the perfect summer Ibiza vibe. Philly’s techno producer Josh Wink picked out his Goody Goodies for the week including his own track “Balls” and David Alvarado’s “Ysleta.” UK’s deep house master Subb-an took the Weekend Hot Mix, while Detroit techno King Carl Craig was knighted into Pete’s Hall of Fame.
