Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” went from radio hit to chart-topper in no time, stripped down to its skivvies for an unrated music video soon after, and has now been remixed following release of Thicke’s album. Will Sparks was first to tease his version but, this week, the Pharrell and T.I. collaboration is being offered as a packaged headlined by Laidback Luke. Luke’s rendition of “Blurred Lines” unravels the commercial nature of the original, swapping bleeps for lyrics and repaving the rhythm with deep Dutch drums.
