Visionquest’s Ryan Crosson and Life and Death duo Tale of Us have teamed up for the Into Later Habits on Visionquest, and the A-side, “Angel,” is certainly a record worth mentioning for fans of stirring dance music. “Angel” feels a bit like a dream sequence — part distant murmurs and sporadic percussion and part driving tension and release. Clocking in at eight minutes or so, the team of Crosson and Tale of Us gave themselves the opportunity to direct a magical ride with unknown twists and turns along the way.
