Zedd, Calvin Harris, and more garner VMA nominations
If this year’s VMA nominations are any indication, dance music is increasingly beginning to find its place in mainstream media. In past years similar nominations have been heralded as major accomplishments and milestones, but in 2013 the shock is beginning to wear off. Although DJs are by no means dominating the VMA nominations, their presence is much more pronounced than in year’s past.
