deadmau5’s latest electronic soundscape, ‘mercedes’

Another day, another Soundcloud upload from deadmau5. This time the prolific producer has created a dark and haunting Soundscape in line with Kavinsky’s slow moving and dramatic electronica. Dubbed ‘mercedes,’ Zimmerman’s latest Soundcloud sneak peek comes in the form of slowly progressing ambient electronica. A blur of heavy machinery samples and sweeping synthesizers, ‘mercedes’ is the type of sonic storytelling only the mau5 could muster — we think it’s about time he scored a movie.
Update: deadmau5 releases a polished version of ‘mercedes’ aptly named PolishedStep.
