Amidst Toolroom’s tenth anniversary celebrations comes a mid-week release revisiting one of its classics. Reviving Fedde Le Grand‘s “Metrum,” UMEK allows the original’s melodic breaks to resonate but digs deeper for the chugging percussion and chord design. Once (and still) a dance floor destroyer, Toolroom’s Artist of the Week finds the space to bring even more contagion to “Metrum” with a deep house induced rhythm.
