LA’s MAKJ has another progressive destroyer under his belt. The DJ AM-trained producer has ventured outside his home label to release “Hakaka” on Michael Woods’ Diffused Music, joining the ranks of GTA, R3hab and Starkillers. Wasting no time in getting to the first build, the tune is marked by a thumping beat, dramatic string and synth break and trouble-making vocal that fits right into the theme – “Hakaka” is Hawaiian for “fight.” Though the track likely won’t induce violence, side effects do include higher heart rate and a tendency to fist pump.
