Drake’s “Hold On, We’re Going Home” off his upcoming album, Nothing Was The Same is a smooth, mellow R&B record that, if remixed, could welcome a nu disco or chillwave sound. While electronic producers have taken full advantage of that appeal recently, TJR has taken the challenge of amplifying the hit. The “Funky Vodka” producer doesn’t get carried away with his refix of “Nothing Was The Same,” simply injecting a kick and setting the bpm to 120 for a “DJ friendly version.”
