Due to conflicts with recording commitments, Example has unfortunately been forced to postpone his 2013 tour of US and Canada. In a statement on his Twitter account today (and Facebook), he cited: “recording commitments for my fifth studio album” as the cause of the immediate tour cancellation. He also mentioned, however, that “anyone who bought tickets is entitled to a full refund,” and that he will “come back to the US/Canada in 2014…huge apologies but [he] has to finish this album ASAP.”

Sad news over the tour cancellation, but good news, since it means Example’s new album is on its way. Watch Example’s Twitter and Facebook accounts for upcoming ticket refund information, though most likely the ticket companies/venues will be reaching out shortly.
