The first single off Talking Head’s fourth studio album, “Once In A Lifetime,” gets the nu-disco treatment from one of the genre’s leading names, Gigamesh. With over thirty years having gone by since the release of the 1981 single, Gigamesh’s offshot adds a proper level of funk that parallel his indie-dance sensibilities. The vocal segment remains unchanged, as a new sequences of upbeat chords breathe new life into the all-around classic.
