Good Morning Mix: Kaskade ‘Summer Lovin’ live from Marquee Las Vegas August, 2013
While Kaskade is primarily known for his soft progressive melodies and gentle vocal samples like the tracklist of new album Atmosphere, we get to experience a deeper side of his musical ability in this late night mix from his summer residency at Marquee Las Vegas. Starting off with an Amtrac remix to indie dance favorite “Handshake” from Two Door Cinema Club, and ending with a mashup of Pryda’s “Powerdrive” with his own “Sometimes,” spanning deep delicacies of every variety in-between. It’s refreshing to hear a different sound from American’s #1 DJ, a sound we hope he continues to express.
