John Dahlback enlists the help of  pop quintet Urban Cone and up-and-coming producer Lucas Nord for his latest original production “We Were Gods.” Originally previewed direct to fans earlier this month, Dahlback shies away from his usual electro for a refreshingly light production defined by flighty pianowork and sincere vocal cuts. Not without a bit of grit, the tune incorporates a driven thump and chunky wobbles amidst its uplifting overtone; making it an ideal interlude in the last days of festival season.
