TomorrowWorld’s Anthem Stage prepared to set lasers to stun

With over 75 countries represented at Tomorrowland, TomorrowWorld organizers are doing their part to ensure that diversity carries over across the Atlantic, and no stage shows as much breadth as Saturday’s Anthem Stage. Names from the UK, Sweden, Puerto Rico, Spain, Estonia, Columbia, Miami, New York, San Fransisco, Missouri and Atlanta itself are all on the bill, with musical stylings that only loosely share the progressive stamp. Whether you want to get groovy with a 20 year veteran of the scene or go hard with a not yet 20-year-old producer, go for a trouse, Brit, or a fan of the 16-bit, our guide to the Anthem Stage has got you covered.

While the first half of the day is dedicated to U.S.-based producers, the flippant knob-flipping The Chainsmokers who kick off the festivities have little more in common with the electro and dub enthusiast Revolvr than a country code. Throw Digital LAB’s remixes, David Solano’s oversized originals and Shreddie Mercury’s playful productions in the mix and you get a house party vibe with a track for every taste. Though nightfall ushers in a more international set, variety continues to be the spice of life for the Anthem Stage.

Taking the stage at 5:30, Mord Fustang will surround listeners in a video game aura while hometown hero Le Castle Vania after him at the very least has a villainous name. Though the juxtaposition between the Atlanta audiophile’s Mau5strap sound and Danny Avila’s Big Beat big room feel may give temporary pause, both specialize in bangers – and bangs. Coming in on the home stretch is Robbie Rivera, whose juicy jams will give way to AN21 & Max Vangeli’s sizable songs before Gareth Emery packs the crossover sounds of Garuda into a 90 minute headlining set. For a little taste of everything and a big bang for your buck, head to the Anthem Stage to educate yourself on the many variations on the theme called EDM.
