Opening up the show with Calvin Harris and Alesso’s new hit “Under Control,” Pete whirls us through his favorites from this week on BBC Radio 1. “Bad DJ” by Size signed Promised Land, “Origins,” by Don Diablo and Builders remix of Axwell’s “Center of the Universe” are featured as his progressive selections. Deeper hits include Dusky’s “Careless” and the Solomun remix of Foal’s “Late Night” amongst many more.
This week’s Essential New Tune comes by way of Germany’s Booka Shade’s “Love Inc” replacing last week’s selection Ten Walls’s “Requiem.” Martin Garrix takes this week’s Goody Goodies playing selections like “Direct Disco” by Sander van Doorn and Yves V and “Gamer” by Bassjackers and GRX. The legendary Norman Cook aka Fatboy Slim is knighted in Pete’s Hall of Fame while Francesca Lombardo is this week’s Future Star.
