Italian duo Nazario Pelusi and Fabio Ranucci have turned out some of the most dynamic big room gems together as Promise Land — from undisputed anthems to diamonds in the rough. Remixing “Don’t You Worry Child” last year and appearing on Size Records with their take on AN21 & Max Vangeli’s “Glow,” the tag team have become comfortable with Steve Angello’s camp — enough for a triumphant return this fall with “Bad DJ.” Fulfilling big room chords and captivating melodies make Promise Land’s latest effort easy to love, but a grittier-than-expected drop defines the record and duo’s street persona. “Bad DJ” will see its Size release on November 11th, providing enough time to consider renaming the track “Bad Ass DJs.”
