With DJ Mag results looming, Tiësto confirms Hardwell as the number one DJ
In true red carpet fashion outside of the “I Am Hardwell” premiere in Amsterdam, exQlusiv TV got a chance to bump shoulders with a few of the industry’s biggest names including Tiësto and Armin Van Buuren. In the beginning of the snippet, when Tiësto is asked who the number one DJ will be, he confirms that Hardwell is indeed the new king of the DJ Mag poll.
“I know 100-percent sure, it’s going to be Mr. Hardwell at number one. I believe in him, because he did so well this year and he has so many loyal followers which is important. He has a lot of great music, he’s done a great job, and he had a great show at Tomorrowland where he played amazing. So, it makes sense.” – Tiesto
In the video, Hardwell (looking like an absolute boss in that suit) says that he is unsure of the rankings and that everything will be confirmed only after the official rankings come out on Saturday. It is also rumored that Tiësto is going to be given the Lifetime Achievement Award during the awards ceremony.
