Zeds Dead respond to criticism on Major Lazer collaboration, ‘We’ve never tried to be just one thing or let genres define us.’

After receiving a bit of backlash for their recent collaboration with Major Lazer and Elephant Man, “Turn Around,” bass-heavy duo, Zeds Dead took to Facebook to issue a response to their fans. “We’ve never tried to be just one thing or let genres define us,” the duo announced on Facebook earlier this evening, acknowledging that they understand the hate surrounding the dancehall track but arguing that their real mission is to show people the sounds and styles that they like.
