Afrojack is no stranger to the stars of pop culture; as long-time friend and previous DJ mentor of megastar Paris Hilton and with several pop icon collaborations under his belt, it’s no surprise that Nick van de Wall has added his own high-energy spin to one of the most popular songs of the season. After hinting at his remix of Miley Cyrus’s “Wrecking Ball” and building anticipation over the last week, he’s now sharing the premiere. Right off the bat, it’s evident that Nick is refocusing the track towards a more mature and deeper sound, but the Dutch producer doesn’t spare his signature thumping bassline throughout the three minute preview.
